The colloquium was chaired by Giuseppe Grossi and Pawan Adhikari and comprised 5 PhD project presentations by students from Italy, Norway and United Kingdom. The projects focussed on participatory budgeting, IPSAS-based accounting reforms in emerging economies, non-financial/sustainability reporting and public sector auditing. Each of them was discussed by an experienced CIGAR scholar. Presentations by Tobias Polzer, Elaine Stewart and Hans-J├╝rgen Bruns provided PhD students with precious insights into the comparative research method and in doing literature reviews.
